Preview: The Charleston Fly

Charleston’s premier catch-and-release fly fishing tournament is right around the corner, bringing together some of the best anglers in the region for a weekend on the water. Whether you’re competing or just coming to connect with the community, it’s one of the standout events of the year for Lowcountry fly anglers.

We’ll be in town for the full weekend — starting with on-the-water demos powered by our partners from Palmetto Boat Sales, riding out of Shem Creek Boat Landing from 3:00–5:00 PM. This is a chance for our friends in the lowcountry to experience a Chittum skiff in person & go for a ride, including the new Challenger 2.0, alongside our Mangrove and Islamorada models. If you’ve been curious about how a Chittum performs, this is the time to find out. Demos are first come, first served.

Later that evening, we’re teaming up with Poncho and Rivers & Glen Trading Co. for a pre-tournament gathering — an easy way to catch up with friends, meet fellow anglers, and get ready for the weekend ahead.
