2026 ‘cuda bowl recap

The 2026 Cuda Bowl once again delivered everything we love about this event—tight competition, good people, and a serious showcase of skill on the water. As a sponsor, it’s always a thrill to kick off the season surrounded by such an energized community, and this year’s field did not disappoint.

Chittum made a strong showing across the board, with three boats landing in the Fly Division winner’s circle. Huge congratulations to captains Greg Dini, Justin Rea, and Nick Labadie, along with their anglers, for putting on a masterclass in sight-fishing under pressure. Seeing our hulls perform at the highest level—quiet, fast, and capable—is something we never take for granted.

One of the standout stories of the weekend came from the Spin Division, where 13-year-old Brody Skrumbellos claimed Grand Champion with an impressive 480 points, fishing alongside his dad and guide, Joe. Watching Brody create a moment he’ll carry for the rest of his life—and doing it from a Chittum Islamorada 18—was something genuinely special. That’s what these tournaments are all about.

Congrats to all the anglers who took home hardware, and thank you to the Cuda Bowl crew for another unforgettable event. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
